A Girl I Hardly Know

There is a girl I hardly know,

who came and stole my heart.

It hit me like a hammer blow,

true love right from the start.

A face as perfect as can be,

with hair that falls like rain.

I fall so deep each time I see,

her beaming smile again.

Such skin that’s tanned and smooth to touch,

Flawless from head to toe.

And curves that race my heart too much,

I had to tell her so.

Her grace no other can compare,

although she says it not.

She exudes style with casual air,

in truths she’s more than hot.

A child of nature wild and free,

no one should ever taint.

For she has faith and honesty,

respectful as a saint.

I wish that she was by my side,

on every day and night.

For it would swell my heart with pride

As she’s such sweet delight.

But in her heart burns such a fire,

t’would be a sin to tame.

She dreams with such intense desire,

to have a models fame.

So while she’s young and fancy free,

I’ll help her all I can.

And dream one day she’ll think of me,

then I can be her man.
